ENERGY AND INNOVATION

ADVANCING SCIENCE TO CREATE A BETTER WORLD

At SubSaharan, we use technology, innovation, and creativity to create more, cleaner energy for the future. We view innovation as an essential factor in developing sustainable solutions that address the most pressing global concerns.

Our daily existence depends on energy. More individuals will have access to energy and live in greater standards of life during the ensuing decades. Climate change, meanwhile, continues to be a major worry.

We are working on a daily basis to find alternative solutions for fuel, i.e. hydrogen production. We aim to focus most of our research on electrolysis; mainly photoelectrolysis

OUR SECOND PROJECT

WHAT IS PHOTOELECTROLYSIS?

Being the most effective technology for producing hydrogen from renewable sources, photoelectrolysis offers a long-term solution that is likely to be successful in supplying the hydrogen economy of the future.

This method of hydrogen production uses photoelectrochemical (PEC) light-collecting systems to power the electrolysis of water.

SubSaharan's renewable energy solutions will lead the green transition

We will provide a variety of green solutions that will range from wind power to geothermal energy to solar energy and storage solutions as well as revolutionized large-scale hydrogen technologies.

Currently, we collectively emit around 50 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year compared to the 35 billion tonnes emitted in the 90s. Therefore, one of the most crucial things we can do to combat climate change is to change the way we power the planet.
