RELYING ON SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS
The methods by which we obtain our energy will determine how long humans and Earth will have a loving relationship.
WE ARE ENSURING ACCESSIBILITY TO RENEWABLE ENERGY
Renewable energy provides sustainable solutions that improve the lives of communities around the world. Our renewable energy solutions offer clean and reliable sources of energy that can help reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality, reduce electricity costs and create jobs. We work with local communities to create long-term relationships and a lasting positive impact. With renewable energy solutions, we can create a cleaner, healthier and more prosperous future for generations to come.
At SubSaharan, we are committed to providing the latest in renewable energy solutions to help drive the global energy transition. We specialize in energy transition technologies, from solar and wind energy, to hydrogen and bioenergy.
HYDROGEN
DID YOU KNOW: Hydrogen has around 9 color codes depending on how it was created. Out of those colors, green is considered to be the best as it is produced using only renewable energy.
Green hydrogen is
produced through a process
called electrolysis, which involves splitting
splitting water molecules into hydrogen and
oxygen using renewable energy sources. The
electricity needed to power the process is provided by
solar, wind, or other renewable energy sources. It does
not produce any carbon emissions in the
production process. At SubSaharan, our green hydrogen is produced using photoelectrolysis. We are
finding ways to make our purification process be of
the highest standards so that it is suitable for
use in a variety of applications.
Blue Hydrogen is
produced from natural gas using
Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
technologies. This process captures the carbon
emissions from natural gas production and stores them
permanently underground. This reduces the
environmental impact of natural gas production
and eliminates the need to release harmful emissions
into the atmosphere. At SubSaharan, our blue hydrogen
is produced from biomass gasification through our
anaerobic digester. We are then also using the
hydrogen to power our operations in order to
reduce our carbon emissions.
